This first technique that you just learned is a powerful component of overcoming social anxiety. Observing and gaining comfort with inner energies has profound benefits. Simply gaining confidence in your ability to handle rather than fear negative feelings or the situations that inspire them, will make a tremendous difference in your anxiety levels. Your fears will no gain emotional fuel and grow the way they did previously once you trust in your ability to handle even the worst case social and emotional scenarios. Now you no longer need to give your social anxiety the additional power that fearing its presence creates. Make practicing this new exercise part of your daily life, and you will see its benefits unfolding in more profound ways all the time. While your anxiety levels are still high, I recommend continuing to practice this first exercises regularly, once or twice per day if possible. Learn to look forward to spending time with yourself, and rest assured that your continued efforts will lead to your freedom from social anxiety.

The upcoming lessons are best utilized once you've mastered the first exercise to a degree that social anxiety is not completely overwhelming you.

If you've found any success with this first exercise and want to learn more about it, please visit MC2Method.com for a downloadable audio program that I developed which expands on the process. Proceeds from the MC2 Method help to keep this site free and available for all who need it.
